Paramythia is a town and a municipality of Thesprotia prefecture, Epirus, Greece.

The population of the town was 2862 inhabitants, while that of the municipality 7859, according to the 2001 census.

On September 29, 1943, ethnic Albanians ("Chams") and German troops executed 49 inhabitants of Paramythia.
