Dimitris "Mimis" Pierrakos was a Greek football player.
Pierrakos was born in 1906 in Gythio, Laconia and played in the midfield for Panathinaikos in the pre-WW II era (1926 - 1933). His nickname was "Brak" and he was part of the team that demolished Olympiakos 8-2, scoring the 5th and the 8th goal of Panathinaikos.
He joined the war effort in 1940 and, on November 18, 1940, fell on the battlefield in the Battle of Pogradec. His remains were brought back to Athens in 1950 and he received a hero's burial on November 19 of that year.
