Spyros Kontoulis was a Greek football player of the 1930s era.

Kontoulis was born in Piraeus in 1915. He started playing football in 1931 for local club Amyna Piraeus.

In 1935, Kontoulis joined AEK. He was part of the team that won the championship in 1939 and 1940.

He was capped three times by the National Football Team of Greece.

During the World War II occupation of Greece, Kontoulis joined the resistance. He was captured in April 1944 and was killed in June of that same year, by German soldiers, when he tried to jump and escape from a truck that was taking him to Kaisariani to be executed.
