Georgios Kalantzis is a Greek politician, formerly the Minister for Macedonia–Thrace.

Kalantzis was born in Kavala, Macedonia, on July 26, 1954. He is a pharmacist by profession.

Kalantzis became involved in politics early in life and served as President of the conservative New Democracy's youth movement (ONNED) in Kavala (1980 - 1982). Between 1986 and 1990, he sat on the City Council of Kavala. In 1990, he was elected nomarch of Phthiotis prefecture in Central Greece.

Kalantzis has been elected to the Hellenic Parliament, under the banner of New Democracy, in 1993, 1996, 2000 and 2004. He was appointed Minister for Macedonia–Thrace on February 15, 2006.
