Stefanos Borbokis is a Greek former football forward of the 1980s - 1990s era.
Borbokis was born on February 26, 1966 in Thessaloniki. He is the elder brother of Vasilis Borbokis, a defender at several Greek and English clubs.
He started his career at PAOK in 1986 and played for them until the 1994 season. He scored some vital goals including the winner against FC Malines in Belgium in the UEFA Cup of 1991. In 1994, he transferred to Edessaikos where he played only one season. He joined Iraklis for the 1996 and 1997 campaigns before ending his career at Aris and Apollon Kalamaria. This makes him the only one who played at the big 4 of Thessaloniki!
Borbokis was capped 29 times by Greece with 6 goals to his credit.
After his playing days were over, he tried his hand at coaching among others Kilkisiakos, Enosis Thrace and Thermaikos.
