Kostas Mourouzis was a Greek basketball player of the 1940s and 1950s.
Mourouzis was born in 1934 in Athens. He played for Triton from 1948 till 1955. At age 17, he was capped for the first time by the National Basketball Team of Greece.
Mourouzis moved to Italy in 1955 to play for Gira Bologna. He returned to Greece in 1959 and played for two more years for Triton before retiring.
He coached Panathinaikos winning six championships with the greens (1967, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974). In 1976, he coached AEK and, between 1977 - 1979, Olympiakos where he won another championship in 1978.
As a player, Mourouzis participated in 24 matches of the National Basketball Team of Greece, scoring 242 points and was a member of the Eurobasket 1961 team. As a coach, he led Greece into Eurobasket 1973.
