  • August 17: Archaeologist Ch. Tsountas announces the discovery of a neolithic settlement in Sesklo, near Volos.

  • November 5: Students ransack the offices of Athens daily "Acropolis" in protest over the newspaper's publication of the Bible translated into modern Greek. The events surrounding the Bible's translation in 1901 would go down in history as "Ta Evangelika" (Evangelical Events).
  • November 8: During the "Evangelical Events", a student demonstration, by the temple of Olympian Zeus, turned bloody with 8 deaths.
  • November 24: The National Theater (Royal Theater at the times) is established on St. Constantine Street in Athens
