Giorgos Vaitsis was a Greek journeyman football forward of the 1980s - 1990s era.

Vaitsis was born in 1967. He played for Anagennisis Karditsa until he made the jump to Olympiakos. He moved on to Panachaiki in 1988 only to return to Olympiakos (1991) before he returned to Panachaiki (1994).

Internationally, he was a member of the Greek Under-21 side that won second place in Europe in 1988. He was also capped once by the senior squad.
