He played in two of the three cup finals that Doxa has reached, and has scored in one of them. He was also Captain of ΑΣΔΑΝ (The National Army Team). He was also a member of the National Team of Greece, but had played only in a friendly game before immigrating to the United States. There, (like many international stars who immigrated to America) he continued his soccer career and played for Olympiakos Chicago. It is worth noting that upon his return to Greece he had a very succesful coaching career. -->

Football club founded in 1918 in Drama (north-eastern Macedonia). Colours: Black and white.
Stadium: Doxa Drama Stadium, (built 1953) capacity 7,000

Known as "the black eagles", Doxa Drama boast of a rich history including 3 appearances in the final of the Greek Cup (1954, 1958 and 1959 against Olympiakos Piraeus in all three games).

The club is currently in the Football C Division.
