Ethnikos Piraeus - team crest

The "second great team of Piraeus", as they were once known, may have fallen into hard times recently but they boast of a great history.

Colours: Blue and white.

Known as the club of the upper classes of Piraeus (whereas Olympiakos have always been the team of the masses), Ethnikos participated in the first championship of Greece (1928) as champions of Piraeus. In 1933 they won the Greek Cup. They have had several decent runs in the Greek League since then but in 1990 were relegated into the B' Division.

Recent history

They have earned a promotion from the C' Division in 2006 and will be playing the 2007 season in the B Division.
