Panayiotis Ventouris was born in 1943 and started his career at Fostiras. He joined AEK in 1966 and was part of the teams that won the 1968 and 1971 championships. He retired from football at age 30. Ventouris was capped twice by the Greek National Football Team, the first time at age 20. He passed away, after a long bout with cancer, in 2001.
