Giorgos Togias is a retired Greek football midfielder/forward of the 1980s and 1990s.
Togias was born on January 12, 1960. He started his football career at Olympiakos Argostoli moving on to Korinthos FC where he made his Alpha Ethniki debut on September 30, 1979 at age 19.
In 1981, he transferred to Olympiakos where he played until December 1987. During those five and a half years he won three championship titles.
His next stop was at Panionios (Jan. 1988 until Dec. 1989) where he participated in the final of the 1989 Greek Football Cup - a 3-1 loss to Panathinaikos.
Afterwards, he played for a year and a half for Levadiakos, returning to Panionios in the summer of 1991. He ended his playing career after the 1995 football season.
After his playing days were over, Togias turned to coaching. He has coached among others Paniliakos, Olympiakos Argostoli, Telycrates Lefkada etc.
