Roza Eskenazi

Born in Istanbul (date uncertain) to a Jewish family, Roza Eskenazi came to Greece as a young girl and made a name in rebetika music with her coquettish voice. In the 1950's she toured extensively the United States with much success becoming a favourite of many a Greek-American at that time. She passed away in 1980.
