Peta is a town in the municipality of the same name in Arta prefecture, Epirus, Greece.

Its population in 2001 was 3896 inhabitants, while that of the entire municipality 4904.

During the Greek War of Independence, a battle was fought at Peta which ended in defeat for the Greek revolutionaries, leading to the siege of Messolonghi.
