Paximadia Mesaras

The Paximadia are two small uninhabited islands, south of Rethymno prefecture and visible from southern Rethymno as well as Tymbaki, Matala and other Heraklio prefecture sites on the gulf of Mesara.

The islands are close to each other and appear as one island from certain locations.
