Melas (Greek Μελάς) is a village in the municipality of Korestia, Kastoria prefecture, Macedonia, Greece.

Melas is the northmost village of the prefecture. The population of the village, according to the 2001 census was 143 inhabitants.

Melas was named after Pavlos Melas the Marseille-born Greek officer who was killed by the Turks in the village - then named Statista - on October 13, 1904, during the Macedonian Struggle. The house where the hero had taken refuge after he was betrayed, is preserved as a museum.
