Michalis Chrysochoidis is a Greek politician, the current Minister of Public Order.
Chrysochoidis was born in 1955 to parents from Asia Minor. He studied Law at the University of Thessaloniki.
He became involved in politics and was elected to the Hellenic Parliament under the banner of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK).
Chrysochoidis has served twice as Minister of Public Order, under PM Costas Simitis and under PM Giorgos Papandreou.
He is married with three children.
