Derynia is a municipality in the Ammochostos province of Cyprus. It attained municipality status in 1994.
Derynia lies within the government-controlled area but very close to the Turkish-occupied territories. In 1996, two Cypriots - Tasos Isaak and Solomos Solomou - were killed in Derynia, by Turks, during a protest.
