Elias Anastasakos

Elias Anastasakos is a Greek football forward who currently plays for Platanias FC.

Anastasakos was born on March 3, 1978 in Sparta. He started his career at AO Dafni, in the local Laconia league and, at age 15, played in the Greek Football D Division for Pangytheatikos and later for Leonidas Glykovrysi.

In 1995, he was acquired by AEK. Anastasakos played in only one league game for AEK - in 2000 against Ionikos - as well as four Cup games. He was loaned out successively to Aris Petroupolis, Apollon Athens and Kalamata FC.

Having been released by AEK in January 2002, Anastasakos played the next four years for Athinaikos, Apollon Athens and Asteras Tripoli.

In 2006, he joined Thrasyvoulos Fyli with whom he was crowned top scorer of the Greek Football B Division, in the 2008 campaign, with 18 goals. The following year he was acquired by PAOK in 2009 by Atromitos Athens and, as of 2012 is a member of Platanias FC.

International Career

Anastasakos has played for the Under-17 National Football Team and was a member of the Under 19 Greek side that won 4th place in Europe in 1996.
