New Hellenic Television (Greek Νέα Ελληνική Τηλεόραση abbreviated NET) is the second channel of the Greek Broadcasting Corporation (ERT).

Originally, NET started out as the television channel of the Hellenic Armed Forces known as TED between 1966 and 1970 and YENED between 1970 and 1982.

In 1982, it became a civilian television station and was renamed ERT2. In 1987, ERT2 was absorbed by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation and became ET2.

Originally quite popular, ET2 dropped noticeably in the rating when private television (MEGA, ANT1, etc.) came to Greece. It was re-organised and relaunched as NET in an effort to capture a share of the audience that it had lost.

NET has been revived as a result of the importation of many popular American series such as "CSI New York", "Desperate Housewives", "Lost", etc. NET has also contracted with Walt Disney to show cartoons and Disney films which has earned the channel a fair share of the young TV audience of Greece.

Its programming also includes news broadcasts, documentaries, sports, films and game shows.
