Giorgos Karamichalos is a retired Greek football forward of the 1980s and 1990s.

Karamichalos was born in 1961 in Volos. He started his football career at Olympiakos Volos at age 17, moving on to Makedonikos where he made his Alpha Ethniki debut in the 1982-83 season. Makedonikos ended that season even on points with Panionios and the two teams played a one-game playoff to avoid relegation. Karamichalos scored a goal in that game but his team lost 3-2 and were relegated.

In the summer of 1984, he joined... Panionios where he played until December 1987.

His next stop was at Xanthi, in the early part of 1988, however he didn't play much due to injuries and, in the summer of that year moved back to Olympiakos Volos.

Karamichalos next played for Doxa Vyronas and Anagennisis Karditsa. He ended his playing career at Olympiakos Volos, at age 35.

Over all, he played in 166 Alpha Ethniki games accumulating 28 goals.

After his playing days were over, Karamichalos coached several clubs in his native Magnesia prefecture.
