The Fourth National Assembly was a gathering of Greek representatives during the Greek War of Independence. It met at Argos, between July 11, 1829 and August 6, 1829, in the Old Style calendar, in use at the time, in Greece.

It was attended by 236 elected officials that represented all of Greece including areas that had not been liberated during the war such as Chios, Crete, Carpathos, Macedonia and Thrace.

It enacted legislation that:

  • adopted the phoenix as the currency of the new state
  • established a senate of 27 members
  • forbade the exportation of antiquities from Greece
