Kastoria was founded in 1963 from the merger of three clubs: Aris, Atromitos and Orestias.

Colours: Red and yellow.

In 1975, Kastoria played for the first time in the A' Division of the Greek National League. Their greatest honour will come 5 years later when they defeat Iraklis 5-2 in the final of the Greek Cup. Kastoria have played in the A' Division from 1975 - 1983 and again in 1997.

The club has since been relegated to the B' Division and are considered one of the prime candidates for promotion back to the top League.
