Metsovo is a town in the municipality of Metsovo in the prefecture of Ioannina, Epirus, Greece.
The population of the town was 3195 inhabitants while that of the municipality 4417, according to the 2001 census.
Metsovo is the ancestral home town of national benefactor Georgios Averoff and of one-time Foreign Minister Evangelos Averoff-Tossizza.
