Georgios Voulgarakis is a Greek politician, affiliated with the governing New Democracy Party, who is currently Minister of Culture.

Voulgarakis was born in Rethymno, Crete, in 1959. He studied law and economics in the University of Athens and became involved with politics during his early student years. He has been a member of the Greek Parliament since 1989.

Between 1989 and 1990, Voulgarakis, was Secretary of the Greek Parliament serving also as Deputy Minister of Environment, Planning and Public Constructions.

Since New Democracy swept to power in 2004, Voulgarakis has served as Minister of Public Order and, after February 14, 2006 as Minister of Culture.
