The most successful Peloponnesian football club was founded in 1891 as Patra Gymnastic Club and was renamed Panachaiki in 1923.
Their most successful season was in 1973 when they finished 4th in the Greek A' Division and earned an UEFA Cup berth. Colours: Red and black.
