Born in 1939, Aristides Papazoglou, was the left-side striker in Olympiakos' lineup between the years of 1959 and 1967, partnering Giorgos Sideris.
He was a good goal-scorer in his hey day (18 goals in 1966), however those days were cut short as he was striken with cancer and passed away at age 29 on August 13, 1969. In total, he scored 71 times in 130 league games.
During his career, Papazoglou was capped three times, scoring three goals, by the National Football Team of Greece.
