Veridiano Marcelo is a Brazilian former football player with a distinguished career in Greece during the 1990s.

Marcelo was born on June 30, 1966. He played for Sao Paulo until 1989 when he was acquired by SKODA Xanthi. He played for the Thracian club, establishing himself as a keen goalscorer, until 1996, when he moved to AEK. In 1997, he transferred to APOEL Nicosia and ended his career with Kozani FC.

Since his retirement from football, Marcelo has coached several clubs and is currently an assistant coach at Omonia Nicosia.
