Domokos is a town in the municipality and the province of the same name in Phthiotis prefecture, Central Greece. Its population in 2001 was 1556 inhabitants.

Domokos is situated 30km from Lamia and 25km from Farsala. Its name is derived from Thaumakos, an ancient city on that same site.

Domokos was an important city during Byzantine times. In 1393, it fell to the Ottoman Turks. In 1881, it was awarded to Greece but was retaken by the Turks during the Greco-Turkish War (1897). It was liberated once more during the First Balkan War in 1912.

Today, Domokos is the commercial centre of the province.
