Doukissa, real name "Doukissa Fotara", was a Greek Laika singer.

Doukissa was born on February 8, 1941. By 1954, she was a singing "wunderkind". She developed into a popular Laika singer who happened to be the favourite of Aristotle Onassis and Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Between 1966 and 1970, she appeared in ten movies («Ενας χίπις με φιλότιμο», «Θα κάνω πέτρα την καρδιά μου», «Τα αδέλφια μου», «Συντρίμμια τα όνειρά μας»)

She was married twice giving birth to two sons. She was diagnosed with cancer in 1992 which she fought to overcome. An accident in the first months of 2010 seemed to have aggravated her condition. She died on September 30, 2010 of cancer in an Athens hospital.
