Mournies is a town in the municipality of Eleftherios Venizelos, Chania prefecture, Crete, Greece.

Its usual population in 2001 was 6461 inhabitants.

Mournies is the birthplace of the great Cretan politician, Eleftherios Venizelos, after whom the municipality is named.
