Aristotelis "Aris" Karasavvidis is a former Greek football player.
Karasavvidis was born on March 13, 1965. He played as a forward for PAOK Thessaloniki from 1984 until 1989 when he transferred to Apollon Athens. In 1993, he returned to PAOK for two seasons. In 1995 Karasavvidis moved for one year to Trikala, then in 1996 for one year to Kalamaria, next again for one year to Lamia FC and finally in 1998 for one year to Edessaikos.
During his career, Karasavvidis was capped five times by the National Football Team of Greece. He was also a member of the Under-21 squad that won second place in Europe in 1988. In fact, he was topscorer of the tournament and scored four goals againt Holland in the semi-final 5-0 victory that qualified Greece for the final game.
Aris Karasavvidis had a brother - Theofilos - who was also a football player and fortuitously also was capped five time by the National Football Team of Greece.
