Minos Kyriakou

Minos Kyriakou (May 31, 1942 - July 2, 2017) was a Greek shipowner and businessman from Athens. Among his business interests were Greek TV station Antenna and Daphne Publishing.

Kyriakou was involved in sports and was President of Panellinios Gymnastic Club. He was also President of the Greek Olympic Committee. On August 20, 2003, he was elected to the IAAF Council, the first Greek to be so honoured.

Kyriakou had been involved in an illegal building scandal. He was sentenced, in 2010, to a 2-year sentence which he paid off.

He died on July 2, 2017.
