Veridiano Marcelo is a Brazilian former football player with a distinguished career in Greece during the 1990s.
Marcelo was born on June 30, 1966. He played for Sao Paulo until 1989 when he was acquired by SKODA Xanthi.
Marcelo played for the SKODA Xanthi, establishing himself as a keen goalscorer, until 1996 when he moved on to AEK. In 1998, he transferred to APOEL Nicosia and ended his career with Kozani FC in 2001.
Since his retirement from football, Marcelo has held several coaching jobs usually in the capacity of assistant to the head coach.
