Veria FC was founded in 1960 when two local teams (Hermes and Vermio) merged. Their nicknames are "Queen of the North" and "Rossoblu".

Colours: Red and blue

Home Ground: Municipal Stadium of Veria - 9,300 seats

Currently (2005) in Beta Ethniki, they have played in the Greek Football A Division the following seasons:

  • 1967 - Finished 13th
  • 1968 - Finished 8th (even on points with PAOK)
  • 1969 - Relegated
  • 1987 - Finished 7th (even on points with AEK)
  • 1988 - Relegated
