Alexandros Terzian

Alexandros Terzian is a former Greek athlete who competed in the 100m, 200m and in the 60m (indoors).

Terzian was born on June 24, 1968 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was an athlete of Panellinios Gymnastic Club.

Terzian is mainly remembered as the man who broke the 21-year old Greek record of Vasilis Papageorgopoulos in the 100m. He did so on June 17, 1993 with a performance of 10.20.

Terzian also broke Papageorgopoulos' 60m indoor record (6.59 in Sevilla, Spain) on March 3, 1993.

Among his distinctions, Terzian has a gold medal in the Mediterranean Games of 1993 in the 100m, two silver medals in the same games for the 200m and the 4x100m relay race, a gold in the Balkan Games of 1994 and several first-place finishes in the Panhellenic Games.
