AO Dafni Athens BC (sometimes spelled as AO Daphne Athens BC) was a Greek professional basketball team that was based in Dafni, Attica, a suburb of the city of Athens, Greece. The colours of the team were yellow-orange and black and the team's symbol was the laurel branch (as "dafni" in Greek means "laurel").

History

The athletic organization's parent athletic union, the AO AC Dafnis, was founded in 1939 with a football club. In 1967, the athletic union added the basketball club, Dafni BC, as one of its sports sections.

In 1969, the team competed in the A1 Division for the first time, and stayed in the there until 1975. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the club often competed in the A1. Legendary Euroleague player Theo Papaloukas played with the club from 1997 to 1999. In the 1998-1999 season Papaloukas led Dafni BC to the A2 Division championship.

In 2010, the club merged with Amyntas Ymittos and formed Amyntas BC which replaced Dafni in the A2 League.
