Sotiris Zakapidas

Sotiris Zakapidas was a Greek football player of the 1930s - 1940s era.

Zakapidas was born in May 1914. He started his football career at local club Megas Alexandros Kaminikia where he was spotted, at age 16, by an Iraklis Thessaloniki player who recommended him to his club.

Zakapidas played as a forward for Iraklis from 1931 and for about 20 years with only a one-year interruption when he was sent on loan to Panaigialios.

He passed away at the age of 95 on March 15, 2010.
