- March 6: ELAS guerrilas attack a convoy of Italian occupation troops at Fardykampos near Siatista, Macedonia. They capture 600 prisoners and much war materiel.
- March 20: Italian occupation troops execute several Greeks in Kastoria, western Macedonia. Among those killed is the local priest Father Ch. Papachristou.
July
- July 13: German occupation troops burn down the village of Kefalovryso, Ioannina prefecture, Epirus. Among those executed is the village priest.
August
- August 16: The village of Kommeno, Arta prefecture, is destroyed by the Germans. 317 of its inhabitants are slain.
September
- September 14: Greek guerrilas, belonging to the EKKA resistance movement, attack and defeat a group of German soldiers at Skaloula. Five Germans are killed and nearly 20 are wounded.
- September 30: 10 Greeks are executed in Patra by the Nazis.
