• January 11: The First Battle of Inonu ends inconclusively after both sides pull back and both claim victory.

• November 9: The Great Powers decide to once again grant Northern Epirus to Albania.
• November 27: Meletios Metaxakis, Archbishop of North and South America, is elected Ecumenical Patriarch. Meletios was labeled a Venizelist.
