Kostas Diamantopoulos was a Greek football defender of the 1960s - 1970s era.

Diamantopoulos was born on December 20, 1937. He started his career at A.E. Ierapolis and transferred to Aegaleo where he played right back from 1962 till 1964. He had 71 appearances and scored one (1) goal.

Upon Aegaleo's relegation, he transferred to Olympiakos Piraeus playing two seasons and having 21 appearances in 21 games. He ended his career in 1967, due to injury, as a player for Ionikos

Diamantopoulos was capped one time for the National Football Team in a 4-0 friendly game defeat against Poland on May 23, 1963.

He coached Olympiakos Liosia, Lamia FC, Pannafpliakos and others.

Diamantopoulos died on August 12, 2025, at the age of 87.
