Vasilis Torosidis is a Greek football right-side wingback who currently plays for Olympiakos and the Greek National Football Team.
Torosidis was born on June 10, 1985 in Xanthi. After spending 4.5 seasons at SKODA Xanthi, he moved to Olympiakos in January of 2007. His first goal with Olympiakos was scored at Toumba Stadium against PAOK FC on 21/01/2007 and opened the way for a crucial away win. In a relatively short time he has managed to become one of the favourite players of the fans of Olympiakos as the passion he shows during every match is great.
In the winter of 2013 Torosidis went to Italy, playing three and a half for AS Roma and two seasons for Bologna. He returned to Greece and Olympiakos in the summer of 2018.
