Argyris Karayiannis was a Greek athlete who competed in the pole vault.

Karayiannis was born in Kalabaka, Thessaly on July 1, 1903. He an athlete of GC Amarousion. He was a contemporary of Panagiotis Chlenztos - a Greek-American - who also competed in the pole vault.

Karayiannis broke the Greek record 8 times between 1925 and 1930, the last time with 3.76m. He competed for Greece in the Olympics of 1924 and 1928.

Among his accomplishments were two gold medals: in the Balkan Games of 1929 and 1930.
