- 1938: The RHS Vasilissa Olga is launched.
- 1944: Bulgarian occupation troops slay 233 Greeks in the village of Doxato, Drama prefecture. Among the dead is the village priest, Papa-Sotiris Zisis and 12 women and children who sought refuge in his home.
- 1985: Andreas Papandreou is re-elected PM of Greece.

- 1963: AEK defeat Iraklis 5-0 for the Greek League. All five goals are scored by Kostas Nestoridis.
