Comments

The 1978 Championship marked the beginning of the Loukas Barlos era for AEK and the first season that Dusan Bajevic played in Greece.

  • Veria FC had 10 points deducted because they where found guilty of trying to fix their match against Aigaleo.
  • On matchday 15 (December 26, 1977) the players went on strike and the matches went on with amateurs.
