Apollon Kalamaria is a Greek football club based in the southern Salonica suburb of Kalamaria.
The team was founded in January 1926 by Pontian Greeks who left their Black Sea homeland in 1922 and resettled in Thessaloniki. Its first president was Emmanouil Magiopoulos who was a painter by profession. Originally, Apollon was a musical and educational club. Sports were added later.
The clubs colours are red and black. The play at Kalamaria Stadium which seats 6,500.
