Dezso Bundzsak

Dezso Bundzsak was a Hungarian football player and coach.

Bundzsak was born on May 3, 1928 in Kiskunhalas. He played for Vasas Budapest from 1950 until 1964 and was capped 25 times with Hungary.

His coaching career included stints in Greece with Pierikos (1966 - 1968), Panionios (1968 - 1970) and Apollon Athens (1970 - 1972).

Bundzhak was especially successful at Pierikos, lifting the club into 5th place in the Greek Alpha Ethniki. He was brought back to the Katerini club for the 1985 season but could not save them for relegation.

Between stints in Greece, Bundzsak also coached in Hungary and Egypt.

He died on October 1, 2010.
