• 1925: Greek authorities hunt down the bandit gang of Yiangoulas and Babanis.
• 1944: The Greek 3rd mountain brigade enters Rimini after defeating its German defenders.
• 1956: Three EOKA members Andreas Panagidis, Michalis Koutsoftas and Stelios Mavrommatis are hanged by the British in Cyprus.
