Apostolos "Akis" Mantzios is a Greek football coach who was formerly a player during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Mantzios was born on October 21, 1969. He started his career at Kifisia FC and played for them if the Football D Division until 1991 when he transferred to Panionios.

At Panionios, Mantzios was established as a defender / defensive midfielder for the next eight years. As team captain, he got to lift the Greek Football Cup in 1998 when his team defeated Panathinaikos 1-0 in the final.

Afterwards, he played two seasons in Thessaloniki for Aris (1998 - 2000) and a single season in Nikaia for Ionikos before returning to Panionios.

Mantzios retired from football in 2003. He then began a career in coaching and has, so far, coached:
