- June 6: Eleftherios Venizelos becomes the target of an assassination attempt for the second time in his life. His car is riddled with bullets but the Cretan politician escapes unhurt.
- June 8: Eleftherios Venizelos is interviewed by the police concerning the assassination attempt against his life. He accuses the government and especially Interior Minister, Ioannis Rallis, as responsible.
